Gearld Fry and I presented for two days on: 1) what is the makeup of a superior bull, 2) how to "see" a good cow when you look at her, 3) what is the mineral requirement for both the cow and the bull, 4) soil, plant, animal health and how that either improves human health or increases the number of people seeking "After you get sick" care.
One attendee caught me at the first break and told me she felt she had already gotten her money's worth. We traveled to Seven Sons Meat Company on the second morning and looked at some superior bulls and at a group of heifers that were close to fat. We talked about how to see the tenderness and flavor on the inside of those heifers and bulls by looking at eight or ten indicators on the outside of the animals. We had to leave the farm before all of the questions had been answered (which was truly too bad).
