With that in my mind I share the following…

“Who will Watch the Watchers"?”

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? is a Latin phrase found in the work of the Roman poet Juevenal from his Satires (Satire VI, lines 347–348). It is literally translated as "Who will guard the guards themselves?", though it is also known by variant translations.

It refers to the problem of controlling the actions of persons in positions of power, an issue discussed by Plato in the Republic regarding authority without oversight.

Dana Lee wrote the following about the book 1984 by Orwell…

Like a lot of people, I read 1984 by George Orwell in school and read it again this past year as the trumpeting of alternative facts were taking center stage. Linear Measurement ~ Coming full circle

My friend Paul Butler of Burns Wyoming gifted me with some information on Linear Measuring written in the 1980’s by Dr. Burl Winchester. It is old enough it seems “new again”.

Dr. Winchester writes, “All kinds of energy are exchangeable. Sunshine (free), gasoline, wheat, electricity, hay and cottonseed cake are all one part of a big energy picture.“ (Emphasis mine)

IN the article below he talks about how the shape of the cow can help us utilize the FREE energy rather than buying into one of the other forms of energy which typically put more money into someone else’s pocket.

We can’t solve the whole problem with a shape but we can make things quite a bit better for our pocketbooks by following Dr. Winchester’s thought process in the article.

Keep in mind Substitute feeding (wheat, corn, barley, hay, and cottonseed meal) versus Supplemental feeding (added protein to aid digestion, added energy to make up shortfall and aid in digestion, ACV to aid digestion, and added minerals to make up for what is not in the feed).

Substitute feeding is putting money in their pocket. Supplemental feeding can help your cow utilize the FREE solar feed at times of the year when it is less palatable and nutritious.

Collateral damage from man-made toxins in our environment

I posted a blog in the past about how atrazine was not helping bull (male) fertility. A friend just passed along a video with a newer and expanded explanation of this problem in humans, and by extension, our male (and female) livestock.

When Pottenger’s cats was written the biggest factor in the cats thriving versus failing was whether their diet was cooked or raw. Today, not only do we have processed and ultra processed food from nutrient deficient soils, but we have the “neighbor’s” toxins to worry about. A lot of this is covered in the video but more deeply and generally covered in the book POTTENGER’S PROPHECY.

Sorry this goes all over the species world. However, all of these ones mentioned are mammals and as Will Rogers might think…they function somewhat the same to a lack of minerals and the presence of too many toxins.

Robyn O’Brien and rebuilding our food system

Robyn O Brien is the modern day “Erin Brockovich” of FOOD. She wrote a book in May of 2010 entitled the UNhealthy truth. She is able to communicate the problems with big food, chemical food, franken-food from both her investment research background and from the emotional motherhood side like no other speaker I have heard. I have been following healthy food for almost 20 years now. Her story and the way she gets it across is one of the most powerful I have heard. I feel like I am late to the game to JUST NOW find her book and presentations.
